U.S. is Seeing a ‘Revival’ to God after Kirk Assassination

Mrs. Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, said that the United States was seeing a “revival” after his assassination, as many people went to church for the first time and looked to God.

Kirk delivered a speech in memory of her late husband at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, during a crowded memorial service for Charlie Kirk. Other speakers at the memorial service included Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard, Dr. Ben Carson, and Tucker Carlson.

“God’s mercy and God’s love have been revealed to me these past ten days,” Mrs. Kirk said. “After Charlie’s assassination, we didn’t see violence, we didn’t see rioting.”

“We didn’t see revolution, instead we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country, we saw revival,” she continued. “This past week, we saw people open a Bible for the first time in a decade, we saw people pray for the first time since they were children. We saw people go to a church service for the first time in their entire lives. ”

During her speech, Mrs. Erika Kirk also called for people to “pray again, read the Bible again” and to continue going to church. Kirk continued to warn that “being a follower of Christ is not easy.”

The memorial service for Mrs. Kirk’s late husband comes after he was assassinated while taking part in a question-and-answer event with students at Utah Valley University on September 10.
