The US will institute a blanket freeze on visa applicants who hold Palestinian-Authority passports according to The New York Times.
The US State Department confirmed this new policy.
This comes after the US announced earlier that it would not issue passports to Palestinian officials to attend the United Nations General Assembly in September.

The US will ban Palestinians from entering the US for medical treatment, business travel, and attending college or university in the US.
NEW: The U.S. has suspended visa approvals for nearly everyone who holds a “Palestinian” passport. The restrictions go beyond an earlier ban on entry by Gazans, and prevent Palestinians from entering the U.S. for medical treatment, business travel, and attending U.S. colleges. pic.twitter.com/kwPwr8g4hU

Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked the visas of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and 80 other officials ahead of this month’s annual U.N. General Assembly.
This comes after the Palestinians raided southern Israel on October 7, 2023, slaughtered over a thousand Jews, took hundreds hostage, murdered kids at an all-night dance party, and brought the hostages back to Gaza where many of them were placed with Muslim families who treated the hostages worse than dogs.
It was the largest progrom against Jews since World War II.
The radical left in America was protesting against Israel at the time before the dead bodies were counted.
