Texas DPS have had their fair share of dealing with illegal aliens and smugglers of illegals thanks to four years of open borders under the Biden regime. Since President Trump resumed office, illegal border crossings have been down over 99 percent.
DPS troopers in Hidalgo County pursued a smuggler of an illegal alien on a high-speed chase and ending it with a PIT maneuver. Eliseo Hernandez led troopers on a reckless high-speed chase in a white Cadillac Escalade while driving on the opposite side of the road and running red lights. One female illegal alien from Colombia was in the vehicle during the pursuit.
After troopers used the PIT maneuver to stop him, Hernandez was arrested for human smuggling and evading arrest. The illegal alien was handed over to the Border Patrol.

DPS troopers often deal with human smugglers and illegal aliens in Texas. TGP reported yesterday of another high-speed pursuit in Webb County last week that ended when the driver collided with a semi-truck. After a short foot pursuit, the smuggler was arrested.

Texas has led the way in pursuing illegal aliens and securing their State even during the hostile Biden regime’s efforts to stop them. Operation Lone Star was launched in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in an effort to stop deadly drugs like fentanyl from entering the US. In addition, the operation included efforts to deter illegal immigration with the support of Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard.
Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution clearly states the US Government’s responsibility to protect the nation from an invasion.
Rule of law is back.
