Another day, another black-robed tyrant subverting President Trump’s constitutional authority and the rule of law.

As CNN reported, a U.S. District Court Judge in Boston on Thursday stepped in and blocked the Trump Administration from preventing foreign nationals from entering Harvard University to study.

On Thursday, President Trump issued a proclamation suspending the visas of new students seeking to study at Harvard University for an initial six months, but allows extensions beyond that time. The order also instructs the State Department to consider revoking the academic visas of current Harvard students.

Allison Burroughs, an Obama appointee, issued a two-page ‘temporary’ restraining order to prevent Trump’s proclamation from happening pending further litigation.

In Thursday’s court filing, Harvard said Trump had violated federal law by failing to back up his claims about national security.

“The Proclamation does not deem the entry of an alien or class of aliens to be detrimental to the interests of the United States, because noncitizens who are impacted by the Proclamation can enter the United States — just so long as they go somewhere other than Harvard,” the school said.

Burroughs, agreed, specifically stating in her ruling that Trump’s order preventing foreigners from entering the U.S. to go to Harvard for the next six months and beyond would cause “immediate and irreparable injury.”

This news comes just weeks after Burroughs barred Trump from implementing a separate order on last month barring Harvard from enrolling international students, who make up more than a quarter of the student body.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem moved to kick out thousands of foreign students enrolled at Harvard University by terminating Harvard’s international student program.

The New York Post reported that on the eve of a hearing before Burroughs last week, the DHS changed course and announced it would challenge Harvard’s certification through a more lengthy administrative process.

But Burroughs instead said she planned to issue a longer-term preliminary injunction for Harvard urging, because she felt some protection was need for Harvard’s international students.
