Marco Rubio Now Holds Four Key Posts in Trump Administration – Secretary of State, National Security Advisor, USAID Administrator, and US Archivist | The Gateway Pundit

Marco Rubio takes the Oath of Office for US Secretary of State (Vice President JD Vance/X)

On Thursday, May 1, The Gateway Pundit reported that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as President Trump’s interim National Security Advisor, while former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz awaits Senate confirmation to become US Ambassador to the United Nations.

In March, Waltz was implicated in the “Signalgate” fiasco that granted limited US military planning information to left-wing hack, and editor of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg.

Beyond this error, Waltz seemingly differed with President Trump regarding US policy on a possible joint military strike with Israel, against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

As National Security Advisor, Waltz reportedly engaged in “intense coordination” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to war-game a possible military strike against Iran.

This report, emanating from sources to the Washington Post, and recently published by the Times of Israel, would signify that Waltz acted against President Trump’s less hawkish diplomatic interests.

Fortunately for President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has publicly aligned with the president on all vital matters concerning American national security.

Thus, Marco Rubio appears poised to successfully lead the National Security Council, in the wake of Mike Waltz, and before a new National Security Advisor is appointed.

Rubio’s unprecedented litany of executive roles has garnered media praise, including from Florida Voice Assistant News Director, Eric Daughtery, whose recent post about Rubio’s many executive positions is Daughtery’s pinned tweet on his X profile.

Longtime Republican political operative, Roger Stone, trolled that Marco Rubio may as well serve as Pope, considering Rubio’s capacity to hold multiple jobs of key significance.

As Secretary of State, Rubio serves as President Trump’s chief advisor on all matters regarding foreign affairs. Rubio ranks fourth in the presidential line of succession and first among cabinet secretaries.

As interim National Security Advisor, Rubio serves as President Trump’s principal advisor on all matters of national security, including US relations with any foreign adversaries.

During his tenure as acting USAID Administrator, Rubio announced the cancellation of about 83% of USAID programs, and the termination of about 98% of USAID employees, after investigating most of the US foreign aid program’s spending to be wasteful.

Finally, as Archivist of the United States, Rubio oversees the critically important National Archives and Records Administration, headquartered within the prominent National Archives Building.

In July, 2024, The Gateway Pundit reported that Marco Rubio stood among President Trump’s three finalists for the Vice Presidential nomination, along with JD Vance and Doug Burgum.

Today, Rubio holds multiple executive posts of key significance.

Accordingly, Rubio’s four-year job performance may establish Rubio as a central MAGA figure to support in the coming decades.
