Dr. Ben Carson rejoiced in the erupting Christian and patriotic revival in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Carson, inside a packed State Farm Stadium in Arizona on Sunday holding Kirk’s memorial service, praised the work begun by Kirk and Turning Point USA, predicting the movement Kirk began will continue and grow after his death with Kirk’s widow, Mrs. Erika Kirk, at the helm of the organization.

“I am delighted to see the young people of our land merging with the older people like me and moving in the same direction and understanding that our nation was founded upon the kind of principles that allowed us to rise from nothing to the pinnacle of the world in record time,” Carson said. “That was no accident. That was because of what we believe, including our Judeo Christian beliefs, that our rights come from our Creator and not from government.”
Carson decried the Marxists trying to take control of government and cultural institutions to indoctrinate America’s youth and change the country’s course — a movement Kirk and Turning Point USA fought.

“It was a radical leftist who said, ‘Give me your children to teach for four years, and the seed that I sow will never be uprooted.’ That’s why, that’s what’s going on. They also had a goal of gaining control of the media and Hollywood so they could change the culture in America, making sexual perversion normal, natural and healthy.”

He also lamented churches that removed biblical teachings to comply with a worldly doctrine pushed by the left.
“I challenge the ministers out there to talk about what the Bible says and not what the leftists say,” Carson said. “And get on board, get on board of the revival that is coming. We are not going to be able to stop it. And you see evidence of it right here in the stadium. We’re all going to be a part of it.”
Carson linked freedom and faith, suggesting Americans cannot be truly free if they lack the type of boldness to stand up for their beliefs.

“I want us all to remember, you cannot be the land of the free if you’re not the home of the brave,” he said. “You’ve got to stand up for what you believe in.”
Carson closed by quoting Christ in John 12:24, noting that Kirk was shot at 12:24 p.m.: “‘Except a corn of wheat fall onto the ground and die, it abideth alone, but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.’ And I want to thank Charlie for his sacrifice, because much fruit is going to be realized.”
