President Donald Trump signed the historic “Big Beautiful Bill (BBB)” into law on July 4, 2025, at the White House.
The star-studded event featured B‑2 bomber flyovers, bagpipe bands, and a massive gathering of patriotic Americans celebrating what has already been hailed as Trump’s most transformative legislative triumph yet.
Among the bill’s centerpiece provisions is a revolutionary initiative conservatives have championed since the House‑passed version: every American baby born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, will receive a $1,000–seeded tax‑deferred “Trump Account.”
Parents can add up to $5,000 annually, invested in low‑cost U.S. index funds, to support college, homeownership, or entrepreneurship.
“This is a pro-family initiative that will help millions of Americans harness the strength of our economy to lift up the next generation, and they’ll really be getting a big jump on life,” Trump said last month.

President Donald J. Trump joined top business leaders and lawmakers to hail the creation of “Trump Accounts” — a provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill that will create tax-deferred investment accounts for all newborn American children.
Trump Accounts for newborns will be seeded with a one-time government contribution of $1,000. The accounts will track a stock index and allow for additional private contributions of up to $5,000 per year. This will afford a generation of children the chance to experience the miracle of compounded growth and set them on a course for prosperity from the very beginning.
