An illegal alien has been indicted for attempted murder this past week by the DeSoto County DA’s office.
19-year-old Jiver Alejandro Melo Dominguez, who is from Mexico, allegedly sliced a man’s neck with a box cutter during a construction project back in March of this year. Dominguez was taken into custody by the Hernando Police Department and is currently in DeSoto County jail.
May 16, 2025 – The DeSoto County District Attorney’s Office has announced that an illegal alien, Jiver Alejandro Melo Dominguez, of Mexico has been indicted by a DeSoto County Grand Jury for attempted murder. Dominguez, age 19, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, May 16.
