A mother and her small daughter were kidnapped by three suspects (two confirmed illegal aliens) in Garner, North Carolina last Monday. Both were found safe after they asked for help from a nearby resident in Wake County on Tuesday. Two of the suspects, Paola Duran Duran, age 25, and Miguel Angel Duran Duran age 23, were arrested within less than 24 hours of the kidnapping.
The third suspect, Eleodoro “Leo” Estrada-Hernandez was arrested on Friday after an extensive manhunt. His charges include first and, second-degree kidnapping, firearm possession, and pointing a gun.
North Carolina authorities on Friday announced the arrest of a third suspect in connection with the Monday kidnapping of a mother and her toddler daughter from a Garner home.
Earlier this week, Garner officials charged illegal immigrants Paola Duran Duran, 25, and Miguel Angel Duran Duran, 23, with two counts of first-degree kidnapping and one count of second-degree kidnapping.
A manhunt ensued for a third suspect, Eleodoro “Leo” Estrada-Hernandez, before authorities located and arrested him on Friday.
The suspects allegedly tried to force the victim’s husband to give them one million dollars. After he refused, he was allegedly restrained, and the wife and daughter were then taken and driven away in a Nissan, according to the local CBS affiliate in North Carolina.
According to the local news affiliate, both Paola and Miguel Duran Duran have ICE detainers, but there was no confirmation of Estrada-Hernandez’s legal status.
Law enforcement from local, State and Federal levels worked collaboratively to find the three suspects.
Although President Trump has a common-sense approach to dealing with illegal aliens, he has gotten a lot of resistance from leftist politicians trying to thwart his efforts. Activist judges and numerous blue state governors have prioritized illegal alien criminals over the rights of US citizens.
TGP reported today that Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed a bill that would have required cooperation with Federal laws regarding immigration. This is just one example of resistance from the left.
