
California Republicans appear poised to lose four to six House seats in next year’s midterms as votes are counted this week in the state’s hastily planned Prop 50. The ballot measure would allow the state’s supermajority Democratic-controlled legislature to redraw congressional maps instead of the existing independent commission.
