In today’s glorious episode of Get Woke, Go Broke, the Disney Grooming Syndicate has ended its partnership with the BBC to produce Doctor Who.
Gee, who could’ve ever guessed (other than every Normal person on the planet) that making its lead character a gay, disco-dancing cross dresser and loading up a beloved 60-year-old series with transsexuals, drag queens, female Doctor Whos, and heavy-handed left-wing messages would kill Doctor Who?
On the BBC, Doctor Who has seen an alarming drop-off in viewing figures. Season 15 averaged 3.8M viewers, according to gold-standard 28-day viewing figures from Barb, the UK’s official ratings agency. This represents a decline of 1M on the prior season, the first starring Gatwa and produced by Jane Tranter’s Bad Wolf. Both Gatwa seasons were down on Jodie Whittaker’s concluding season in 2021 (watched by 5.2M people), a period that was not considered to be vintage Doctor Who. “The ratings were not up to much,” someone involved in the series ruefully acknowledges.
The goal was to globalize Doctor Who on Disney+ and then, get this, to “Marvel-ize” by more than doubling the budget to $8 million to $10 million per episode. Disney reportedly dumped around $168 million into this disaster only to woke it up, which resulted in a crash in the ratings and a backlash among the show’s small but dedicated fan base.
You mean they queered Doctor Who and it failed? These people are disgusting perverts. There is no other way to describe them.
Here is one more example of how, over and over again, the Disney Grooming Syndicate grabs hold of a beloved franchise and woke-i-fies it into something everyone hates. Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel, Indiana Jones, Willow, and now Doctor Who.
That’s how dedicated these perverts are to their amoral social justice cause. That’s how dedicated they are to corrupting your children.
Granted, I’ve never watched an episode of Doctor Who, but I’m aware that the appeal is the all imagination put into the low budget and the sweet but geeky concept of a Time Lord exploring the galaxy to right wrongs and discover everything there is to discover out there. There was innocence to it, and a permanence people found comforting. It was also distinctly British.
Before Disney climbed aboard, Doctor Who had already been woke for a few years and losing viewers. Then Disney arrived to “save” the show and it only became woker. Eventually, the ratings hit a record-low for a series that’s old enough to collect Social Security.
The solution appears simple enough: Stop putting people in charge of beloved shows and movies who hate those shows and movies, who believe there is something wrong with them and they must be fixed.
But Disney is sick and staffed with degenerates who want to destroy everything good.
There’s simply no other explanation.
This garbage has a 100 percent failure rate, but they never stop.
