Zohran Mamdani Exploits Islamophobia Narrative to Hide His Antisemitic, Communist Agenda | The Gateway Pundit

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, the far-left Democrat Socialist frontrunner, gave an emotional speech outside a Bronx mosque on Friday, where he tearfully denounced Islamophobia in the race.

But while Mamdani framed himself as the victim of discrimination, the real issue is his record: a politician who promotes socialism, sympathizes with extremists, and embraces rhetoric that is deeply hostile toward Jewish New Yorkers.

Mamdani told supporters that his family members faced post-9/11 discrimination, including his aunt’s fear of wearing a hijab on the subway.

He accused his opponents—Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa—of stoking bigotry by tying him to terrorism.

Yet this dramatic performance cannot erase the fact that Mamdani has made a career out of pushing socialist dogma and aligning with organizations that demonize Israel and the Jewish community.

As a proud member of the Democrat Socialists of America, Mamdani has supported the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, a campaign that even many Democrats admit is antisemitic at its core.

He has defended activists who call Israel an “apartheid state,” a slur that echoes rhetoric used by Hamas and other terrorist groups.

When Jewish communities in New York faced a surge of violent antisemitic attacks in recent years, Mamdani was quick to blame “systemic oppression” rather than standing firmly with the victims.

Mamdani demands that New Yorkers rally around him when he claims discrimination but shows no such solidarity when Jewish students are harassed on campuses, synagogues are vandalized, or when Hamas rockets rain down on civilians in Israel.

His “tears” on the campaign trail ring hollow when his record reveals open hostility to Jewish self-determination and blind allegiance to radical ideology.

Mamdani’s socialist platform should alarm every New Yorker. He has called for slashing police budgets even as crime devastates working-class neighborhoods.

He supports massive government spending, rent cancellation, and economic redistribution that would bankrupt small businesses and drive more taxpayers out of the city.

Just as socialism crippled Venezuela and Cuba, Mamdani’s policies would destroy the economic engine of America’s largest city.

Early polls show Mamdani with 47% support, leading Cuomo and Sliwa by double digits.

That lead should frighten every New Yorker who values freedom, safety, and prosperity.

Mamdani’s tears may win headlines, but they cannot cover up the reality: his brand of antisemitism and socialism is dangerous.

New York does not need a mayor who blames America and Israel while embracing radical ideology.

Rather, it needs a leader who will protect all communities, restore public safety, and reject the socialist experiment that Mamdani wants to force on millions of hardworking citizens.
