Trump Addresses Venezuelan Fighter Jets Flying Near USS Jason Dunham, Says ‘If They Put Us in a Dangerous Position, They’ll Be Shot Down’ (VIDEOS) | The Gateway Pundit

Trump has warned Venezuelans against dangerous fighter jet maneuvers.

Maduro’s planes will pay a price for dangerous maneuvers.

We have reported earlier here on TGP about the incident in the Caribbean Sea, in which two Venezuelan fully armed F16 fighter jets flew close to a US warship in what the Department of War called ‘a highly provocative move’.

During his press conference today, President Donald J. Trump addressed the Venezuelan ‘flyover’, and stated that – despite what Maduro’s military claimed, they did not pass immediately above the USS Jason Dunham.

However, Trump issued a chilling warning to Venezuela.

He told General Raisin Cane, present at the presser, that he and his captains were authorized to deal with such incidents as they see fit.

But further provoked by the press, the President said that planes that put the US military in a dangerous position may get ‘shot down’.

Watch: Trump talks about the Venezuelan fighter jets.

“Trump: Well, I would say they’re going to be in trouble. We’ll let them know about that. We heard that happened, but it wasn’t really ‘over’ it. Not like they described.

But I would say, General, if they do that, you have a choice of doing anything you want. If they fly in a dangerous position, I would say that you can you or your captains can make the decision as to what they want to do.

Reporter: How close did they get? You said the planes did not go over.

Trump: Well, I don’t want to talk about that. But if they do put us in a dangerous position, they’ll be shot down.”
